The candidate is expected to work with the GI team to evaluate and manage patients in the ambulatory setting as well as occasionally make nutritional evaluations for hospitalized patients that belong to the team.
Clinic responsibility would be for approximately 0.50 of the time allotted.
There would be expectations for supervision of rotating interns from the Department of Nutrition and Metabolism in the School of Allied Health. There would be a role for the candidate in education of rotating medical residents and students as they matriculate in Pediatric GI and Nutrition.
There would be expectations to provide support to neonatal services to help with GI patients who need evaluation and management of moderately complex problems.
Master‘s Degree in Dietary services and nutrition
Preferred Work Experience
Experience in helping to manage moderately complex GI patients in both ambulatory and inpatient settings is preferred. This includes helping to manage enteral and parenteral feedings for patients with short gut syndromes, malabsorption, and inflammatory bowel disease.
